Very useful suggestion you have there. I use a regular piece of flannel to clean the Wax but I guess using microfiber towels is the best option to get the job done.

A car wax gives shiny look to your car and helps to shield the paint from harsh environment, protecting it from fading. I go to car washing before but they bruised my car a little bit and I don’t want to trust again my car to car washers except when I need general cleaning of my car and air-condition. Now I prefer to wash my own car and use Turtle wax and polish. I think it is more trusted when you are the one hands on in your car.

Thanks for the tips. I have been using automatic car washes a lot lately but there is no comparison to a professional waxing…Automatic car washes have also got a reputation for damaging paintwork as well which is another reason hand washes are so much better.

Waxing after polishing your car is a must. It will give your car a longer lasting shine and protection from the elements.

If you really want to look after your car avoid using the machine washes at all costs. They can really damage the paint work as they are very abrasive – especially bad for older cars…

microfiber is the only way to go. Really. Why would you use anything else?

I also prefer the microfiber clothes because they offer great finish when you are waxing your car. Anytime I use a traditional cloth it will leave swirl marks which is so annoying.
