Wow. Thanks for the tips . I’d like some advice on paint touch-up techniques.

My two-month old ’95 M3 (Avus blue) has a few paint chips on the front.
I bought the official BMW paint stick, and after washing the car, I made
a go at touching up the chips.

Problem is, no matter how much I try to get the excess paint off the
small brush on the paint “stick”, the pain has a tendency to glob up
rather than fill-in nicely.

So, am I stuck with this, or is there a trick to getting the touch-up
pain to nicely fill-in the chip?

I plan to touch up my car but I would like to know how much it would cost to touch up small chips and very few scratches on my car?

I agree you need a relly clean surface before applying the touch up paint. Cars will always get scratched. Repairing the damage early is crucial to a good job so check youe car weekly.

I’ve seen a lot of DIY auto body repairsr and I’m sorry to report most of them require complete re-do’s. And corrections cost more than an original repair would because so much needs to be corrected. Thank you for your nice information about automobile and i want to add up a small thing that many car owner would love, recently i saw a advertise about the scratches and this product is nice to see and easy to use also. so your automotive touch up painting is also the same thing, but you write this one very nicely and i’m impressed.
