What other factors can damage an auto paint job? Also, what is the price of this auto paint protection, I am considering getting this done to my vehicle.

it is recomended that you wax your car between 3-4 times per year. this will help to keep your car protected. however if it is not kept in the garage or under sufficient shelter then you are really fighting an up hill battle. I use car wax probably more than 4 times per year but you are right when you say that car wax help to protect your cars paint.

I love the ideas you have given me about auto paint but Im not sure I agree with going with the cheapest method available. I look for quality first rather than price but can understand how someone would go for price first. Got to admit though that you know your stuff about paint protection.

The sun is really hard on cars here in Florida. Some car dealers sell different type of waxes, and many are guaranteed to protect your paint for 5 years.

My car stands too much exposed to Sun and the Red paint especially gets fainted sooner. Either I have to select a different color for my car or use this Paint protector. Looks like a very useful product and will spare me from repetitive paint expenses.

I live high in the mountains near a ski resort and every winter the roads get covered in salt (to melt the ice), this coupled with the constant moisture plays havoc on my car – Im a big fan of paint protection products and dont know what id do without them! Thanks for the information!

Living near the beach gives me more problems with rust and corrosion prevention than normal. I agree with previous commenters on the importance of paint protection.
